Taiwan-born violinist and pianist Angel Lee is the founder of the Euroasia Association of Performing Arts, an association that has established ties with international organisations and is currently the leading platform for recognising and developing musical talent in the country over the past decade.
Angel graduated with a honours degree from Australia under the Melbourne University International Undergraduate Scholarship, to which she has added seven diplomas. Her journey in music began at the age of 14, when she entered the Malaysian Institute of Art as a special entrant majoring in violin and piano.
Having dedicated more than two decades to the development of music education in Malaysia. In the early part of her career, Angel focused on the nurturing of young talents and have trained numerous young musicians and established ensembles whom have performed and won prizes both locally internationally.
With expertise not only in early education, Angel has held teaching positions and been on the panel of examiners at the University of Malaya, the Malaysian Institute of Art, and the National Arts Academy. She is also the violinist of the Sutera Ensemble, a piano quartet that has performed across Malaysia and in Cambodia.
For her contributions towards music and the arts, Angel was bestowed with the Setiawan Tuanku Muhriz (STM) medal by the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia in 2014. Angel has been on the panel of music examiners for Trinity College London since 2011.
