Welcome to the official website of the Euroasia Association of Performing Arts!

Euroasia is an independent self-funded non-profit organisation under the Royal Patronage of Y.A.M. Tunku Zain Al-‘Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz.

Since 1999, its core members have been actively involved in many activities mostly comprising of fund-raising concerts for organisations in need, educational music festivals and competitions.

Since its formal establishment in 2013, Euroasia has made it a mission to develop and contribute to the classical music and performance industry in Malaysia– from raising awareness, cultivating interest, creating platforms, and building local and international communities and connections that can benefit these musicians at all stages of their musical development. The Euroasia platform has enabled international collaborations and partnerships, and provided a wider spectrum of exposure to different pedagogical approaches and broadened the perspectives of all those involved. It has served as a bridge for collaborations and partnerships with reputable international institutions like the ABRSM (UK), Trinity College London (UK), The Embassy of France and the Alliance Francaise in Malaysia, the Festival de Musique Des Arcs (France), and the Siam Sinfonietta (Thailand). Via these networks, more Malaysian students were able to gain further exposure to European classical music traditions and culture.

The nation-wide expansion of the Euroasia events from 2015 led to two-fold contributions to the Malaysian music community: Accessibility for musicians in small locales, and educational opportunities unmatched in the country. The results of these efforts have seen the Euroasia events becoming one of the leading platforms for recognising and developing musical talent in the country, garnering a high level of following and participation annually, and full house attendees for the competition round, outreach programme, and concerts in the cities we visit.

We are proud that the Euroasia events have now become an essential and vital component of the music education industry in Malaysia, which teachers and students look forward to participating annually. With both local and international participants, the events provide a multicultural platform where attendees can engage and be inspired by their peers.

Come join us in our journey to further enhance and develop the awareness and culture of performing arts in Malaysia!
