Euroasia recognized how the immersive environment and cultural diversities at Music Academies and Festivals abroad shaped and defined the best musicians in Europe, and how the high costs of attending these Music Festival made it less accessible for the majority of music students. Hence, the first of the Euroasia Youth Music Festivals was initiated in 2013 to recreate the environment here, and to allow more students to benefit from the experience at an affordable level.
For two years, the week-long festival replete with masterclasses, workshops, orchestra, competition, and several concerts. The festivals brought to Malaysia the rare opportunity of a panel of international faculty from France, Italy, Vietnam and Taiwan, and concluded with gala concerts showcasing the faculty members as soloists accompanied by the orchestra comprising of festival participants
