Danish Mubin is currently co-solo violist of the Théâtre Orchestre Bienne Soleure in Switzerland.
He completed his Master’s degree in orchestral performance at the Haute École de Musique de
Lausanne under Vinciane Béranger, including an ERASMUS exchange at the Berlin University of
the Arts with Prof. Hartmut Rohde.

He completed his studies with the generosity of the Pierre Lardy Scholarship funded by the La Rosey Foundation. Danish previously earned his Bachelor’s degree in Viola Performance with honors from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore, where he studied with Lionel Tan.

A prize winner at the Euroasia String Competition and the Princess Galvani Vadhana International
Ensemble Competition, Danish has performed with ensembles such as the Orchestre de Chambre de
Lausanne, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. His festival
and chamber music appearances include the Lucerne Festival, Pacific Music Festival in Japan,
Pablo Casals Festival in France, and the Tibor Varga Festival in Switzerland. He has also had
masterclasses with renowned artists including Tabea Zimmermann, Gerard Caussé, Nobuko Imai,
and Lawrence Power.
