When I founded the Euroasia Association of Performing Arts in 2012, my vision was to create a platform that not only celebrates musical excellence, but also inspires growth, connects communities, and raises the standards of music education in Malaysia and beyond. I wanted Euroasia to be more than a competition — a place where young musicians could learn, share, and discover the joy of making music together.
Over the years, Euroasia has grown far beyond what we first imagined. What began as a small initiative has developed into one of the region’s leading platforms for performance and music education, uniting students, teachers, and professionals from around the world. Today, we are proud to welcome thousands of participants, distinguished jurors, and partners each year, all contributing to a vibrant global community of learning and inspiration.
Beyond competition, Euroasia’s mission is to cultivate an environment where learning is continuous and inspiration is shared. Each programme we present — from competitions to masterclasses, festivals, and outreach projects — is guided by the belief that excellence in music begins with education, dedication, and opportunity.
At Euroasia, we take pride in providing an environment that encourages growth through experience. Our aim is not only to recognise talent, but to nurture it — to help every participant gain confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the art of music.
As we look ahead, Euroasia remains committed to building bridges — between countries, between generations, and between music and the wider community.
