In partnership with the Royale Chulan Seremban, The Royale Sunday Matinee series was launched in January 2014. The objective of these concerts is to raise awareness of performing arts – particularly music – in Negeri Sembilan, and to provide a platform for young aspiring musicians.

Activities such as this will be an incredible start to encourage more young musicians to take music seriously, and serves as an eye opener for those thinking of taking up music lessons. The Association aims to share the experience of its members with these fledgling musicians, to emphasise that music is not just about weekly lessons, but is a form of art that is meant to be shared and acknowledged.

The Concert programmes deliberately consist of different genres of music, in order to expose the young performer to a wide range of styles which will help shape their understanding of the art of performance, as well as allowing them to express themselves through music that they may be familiar with.

Musicians from all over and all walks of life and at any phase of their musical career are encouraged to participate at the concert. They may perform Solo or in Group Performances, and the series is open to Singers and instrumentalists of any acoustic instruments, barring drum kits.

The Royale Sunday Matinee Series will be making a comeback in 2019, stay tuned for more information!
