The scholarship will be awarded to One Top Outstanding Winner from any Category of either the Malaysian Piano Competition or the Euroasia Strings Competition.
Terms & Conditions:
- The highest score will be awarded a scholarship for the Music Performance Programme at Sunway University. He / She must meet the terms & conditions of the entry to the programme:
- Malaysian or International applicants are welcome.
- The successful applicant must perform at least three scheduled performances per year with music ensembles of the School of Arts.
- The scholarship’s continuity is reviewed on a yearly basis, subject to meeting the terms set by the institution:
- The scholar must maintain an overall average of 60% in academic grades.
- The scholar must demonstrate leadership in the assigned ensemble(s).
- The scholarship offered to the winner is NOT exchangeable for cash or cash value.
- If the winner is not successful in enrolling in the Sunway University, Music Performance Programme due to academic results or any other reasons, the scholarship is NOT exchangeable for cash or cash value.
- If the winner decides not to accept the scholarship, the next winner in line will be eligible to receive it.
